She enjoys staying active with her family, relaxing with reiki massages, and cheering on her children at their sports activities. With over 15 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from North Central College in Naperville, IL and is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Bethany was drawn to tax and accounting through a lifelong love of numbers and problem-solving. She finds purpose in helping families and small business owners reduce stress around finances so they can focus on living their best lives.
Carissa
Executive Assistant
Carissa is a wife, mom, and numbers enthusiast who loves supporting both her team and clients. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida Institute of Technology and has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Known for her dedication and team spirit, Carissa brings warmth and reliability to every project. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family or making sweet memories baking in the kitchen.
Nakuma
Head Accountant
Nakuma is a devoted wife and homeschooling mom of two boys, passionate about learning, community, and service. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and has experience across multiple industries, with a recent emphasis on nonprofits and municipalities. She is currently expanding her expertise and growing her professional credentials. Nakuma is also the board president of a nonprofit community action agency and serves on her local school board and planning commission. In her free time, she enjoys vegetable gardening, reading across a wide range of genres, and spending quality time with her family.

Bookkeeper
Amanda joined Vitality in August 2022 and has been instrumental in ensuring clients have clear, accurate records. With a keen eye for detail, she thrives behind the scenes, keeping operations running smoothly. Outside of work, she is a proud boy mom of three and married to her best friend. She loves spending time with her family and winding down with a good movie.

Bookkeeper
Max graduated from Illinois State University in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and will begin his Master’s in Professional Accounting at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in August 2025. He chose a career in accounting out of a genuine interest in numbers and the business world, with a special passion for tax. Max is an avid Chicago Bears fan who enjoys talking football, spending time with loved ones, and getting outside to appreciate nature.
